Hasn't the Interceptor aged well in the last 10 years, they look bloody good now, I could never see it decades back.Once a month I get the current A class as hire car, it is a turd rolled in glitter, remarkable how far backward Merc have done.

I've always loved the Interceptor, just wasn't brave enough back when they were fairly cheap!
But I had a work colleague back in the early 80s who bought a red SP for about £3,000 IIRC! It was a bit tired, but was still a stunning car. Mind you he couldn't afford to use it every day, so he came to work in an old Renault 10.
