As great automotive experiences go, driving a V12 Lamborghini roadster in the sunshine takes some beating. The noise is like nothing else, the speed is seemingly relentless and the smell - the combination of leather, combustion and hard-worked brakes - is intoxicating. There's nothing quite to match it.

In fact, the worst bit about rolling around in a Lamborghini is that you're unable to appreciate perhaps its finest aspect: the way it looks. While all the cars from Sant'Agata are better than they've ever been, the stunning design of every single one must remain a key part of the appeal. Nowhere is that more evident than with the Aventador; here's a car launched in 2011, yet it's one that still looks contemporary and, more importantly, dramatic enough to turn every single head it passes.

So here is a Friday dose of Lambo drama for your desktop, the Blu Nethuns Aventador bathing in this omnipresent sunshine that Britain is currently enjoying. And doesn't it look fabulous? The Aventador may be a flawed car, but there are still few better vehicles for reminding you just why you fell in love with cars in the first place.
