Is anyone aware of good locations to professionally photograph a car in Essex? Car is an Aston Martin so no heavy off roading.

Industrial, scenic whatever. All options considered. Just want a good setting. Ideally near Chelmsford but willing to travel.

Thanks in advance

Maldon by the creek was always a good place to go, especially if you can catch some barges with the red sails up in the background. Or some traditional wooden barns

It’s many years since I last went but there used to be a car park right next to the creek, however it’s possible that it’s now houses...

Other than that Burnham on Sea would be good, as would Mersea Island.

Some interesting shots to be had out by the Power Station at Bradwell. The old airfield perimeter roads lead to some interesting buildings / hangers.

(Drive out there's not too shabby either!)

Also, there's a car park under the A13 flyover at Pitsea. I've seen some really clever shots done there....though pick the wrong time of day and you may get the wrong 'shots'.

The old Bata shoe factory in Tilbury perhaps?

Plenty of people take photos of decent cars in front of Hylands House.

Rayne Station on a weekday (pity the Rayne Foundry's gone). If Finchingfield's busy, the Bardfields are quite picturesque. Lion and Lamb at Takeley, short stay car park at STN (terminal building backdrop), Marconi building in Chelmo (but you know that), Heybridge Basin, causeway at Mersea Island, Southend promenade by the Rossi restaurant, Halfway House pub (and All Saints Church East Horndon if you can get sufficiently near), ford by White Notley train station, Army and Navy flyover (if they ever open it again) light trails early hours...

Are you looking for arty shots or sales images? Hope some of the above gives food for thought

Thanks for the suggestions all.

Re last post - Arty rather than as sale shots. I'd like to get my dog in one of them too. Black greyhound. Black car.

're one of the earlier postings what creek do you refer to?

Think it was me that referred to the creek...maybe that’s not what it’s called, but it’s what we called it when we were kids. The link here http://www.visitmaldon.co.uk/the-hythe/ is where I meant.

Would be good to see pictures, especially of the greyhound. Mine is currently, as usual, asleep ...

High Beech can be good if you get there when it's quiet.

North Weald airfield if you can get access.

Plenty of coastal options, Maldon, Bradwell perhaps.
