I really like the first 2 in the 'has fallen' series, I was wondering whether to try this one. Mark Kermode claims it's the best so far.

I will definitely watch it when it comes on Sky but not sure I am going to make the effort to go and watch it at the cinema. The 1st 2 are ok, not overly taken with Buttlers acting.

Wife loved the first two "has fallen" may suggest we go and watch this weekend as something to do, I drag her to enough things I want to see hehe

I've seen it, and agree that it's the best of the three... It's still a silly 'turn your brain off' action vehicle (nothing wrong with that) but it has a little bit more grit than the other two and one particular new character and the scene where they are introduced is great fun.

I'd definitely give it a go if you liked the other two.

Quite likely to see it at the weekend. It's either that or the Lion King, so hoping the wife goes for this one (she likes the 1st two).

That's all I needed to hear - reviewers seem to have been fairly harsh, but I thought that was a little unfair on what I know of the film.

Sometimes reviewers disappear up their own arses when it comes to films like these.

This is a proper beers in/brain off type of movie and should be celebrated for what it is - A plot hole laden, kill as many fkers as possible in the shortest amount of time with bonus points awarded for inventiveness and snappy one liners.

Completely agree. Nothing wrong with a simple action film which doesn't take itself too seriously.

I was surprised by this being not just stupid (that was a given) but great fun too. Really enjoyed it, had a couple of twists I didn't expect loads of explosions - and reasonably light-hearted

I quite fancy this but haven't seen the first two. Is this inadvisable?

I don't think the writers of this film had seen the first two films either!

It works fine on its own.

I'd rather remove my nutsack with a blunt scythe.

First one was ste, second beyond parody.

I admire how you thought the first was ste but persevered by watching the 2nd one, but now it's too much and you'd rather painfully dismember yourself than watch a 3rd. Quite an escalation
