Tricker's shoes - sizing leeway

I've spotted a nice pair of shoes in the Tricker's sale.

Sadly they are half a size too small. It's a 4497S last.

I'm wondering if Tricker's are generously sized and will I get away with them please?

I have a pair of their stow boots, think these are from the same last, I find them generous, especially in the width.

Once did this - in the hope that they would "give" - even with thin socks they are still tight!!!!!

Trickers sizing is spot on and I do not find them generous - based on 7 pairs shoes/boots.

It will depend upon the width fitting surely.

FWIW I was half a size down on the Trickers I owned.

Buy them and send them back if they don't fit.

Lol at a completely different level I bought a pair of converse trainers, ltd edition so had to go 1/2 size small as that was the only pair still in stock, tried them on, a bit tight but thought they would give with a bit of wear. Then 3 weeks later rook them as my only shoes to Vegas. Walked from one end of the strip to the other ( 4 seasons to Peppermill) and back via most of the decent hotels on the way, then had the worst blisters ever... oddly lol
They did give in the end
