I'm in my thirties, and have never seen Toy Story.

Not in a hipster "I'm too cool to watch it" way, I've just never seen it, or many Disney films to be honest. It just didn't play a big part in my childhood. I was in my late twenties when Lion King as well - mainly as my wife was outraged I'd never seen it and made me watch it.

Mentioned this to my colleagues who found it amazing that I've not seen any of the films, and led to a discussion about big films that people have never seen.

So, what 'iconic' film have you never seen?

The Deer Hunter. I don't know why but I've never gotten around to watch it.

Funny you mention this as was chatting to a mate about another mate who constantly talks about films and what he's downloaded via torrents etc, yet when you ask him about certain well known films, he's never seen them.!

I'm also in my thirties and can still remember watching GMTV / This Morning or whatever it was back then with my mum the year before Toy Story came out and they showed Woody running down the stairs as part of a clip saying that this new computer animated film was coming. From that clip I was desperate to see it, properly couldn't wait and one of the few films I will watch over and over again. Loved it! Please watch it, it's well worth it.

I've never seen any of the Star Wars films apart from the first remake they did which I got dragged to the cinema to watch by my mum and I couldn't bloody stand it. The Jar-Jar Binks one, can't remember the name but it properly put me off watching any of the others.

any Harry Potter

I could go on and on. I did actually see Toy Story in the cinema, one of the three times I've ever been.

Never seen Shawshank Redemption, seen a few bits of it, but not the whole film. For some reason it hasn't interested me.
Also for TV shows never seen any of Breaking Bad.

Hadn’t seen E.T until last year.
Wasn't worth the wait imo.

Still haven’t seen any of The Godfather films yet.

Yeah, me too. Maybe I was tired at the time, but mafia/mobster films aren't really of interest anyway.

I haven't seen any of the new Star Wars franchise, and by new I mean anything since the Phantom Menace. The originals I only saw as a child.

I haven't seen any Marvel/comic book/avengers/X-men/spiderman type film except for Iron Man.

My dad passed away a couple of years ago, managed that without watching a single Star Wars or Start Trek episode or film. SiFi was just not his thing

I've never seen Schindlers List.... got to the screening & it was full, so the two girls I was with suggested a George Clooney film which was on instead. Which I wasn't too keen on until they mentioned ladies with their bits out in it... Mmm Salma Hayek. (From dusk til dawn)

I vividly remember going to the cinema with my brother to watch Toy Story when it first came out, I was 12, loved it.

I've never seen Lion King, people seem to look at me in disgrace when they find this out.

Just reading this thread - 12 Angry Men and Schindlers List are in my top 5. Go watch!

I've never eaten a McDonalds, or paid for Big Ben to bong... oh, sorry, wrong thread.

Also not seen Toy Story.
