Lose some of the fake vents and paint the exterior a different colour (French Blue is nice but not on this car) and I'd could like it.

Khamsin? Looks more like a (Project) Kahnsin.

Perhaps if there weren't so many flaps and holes, it would nicely modernise it?

That is gopping.

It also has a Holden engine.

Like something Goblin works would vomit up.

Poor thing. Would be nice to see it toned down and with a different engine and gearbox. I do like the colour though. Any idea how much it is?

I can't help but love that. I'd have to change the overly fancy vents and the wheels aren't working for me. But the arches, the work on the rear end and the interior are wonderful. Really cool car. Sorry.

Useless advert as well. Pointless potted history of the Khamsin which won't be necessary for any serious buyer, but nothing about the car itself- particularly ridiculous with a car so heavily altered. Which Holden engine- 150bhp? 500bhp? Who built it? etc etc

Too many traders are now worried re what they say about a car, so use only very basic descriptions.
I’ve just bought a car from a “ Leading Dealers “. Their description of it in their advert was simply Dire, partly due to their sales teams total lack of product and mechanical knowledge and I reckon the fear of being sued for misrepresentation.
Twice I asked the Sales man if their was any History and paper work with the car and the answer was No !
Well, on opening the cardboard box behind the drivers seat, I almost fell over, as it’s stuffed Full of $$$$$$ receipts and two shop manuals !
Their advert really did the car a Huge injustice, as the cars paint, chrome, condition and spec, is simply gorgeous.

Whilst I'm not saying it's an improvement on the original, I do like it. I'd also say it's a better job than several body updates carried out by the manufacturers themselves, Pantera & Countach spring to mind.

Fascinating stock list, F40, F50 & Enzo sharing web space with CX25 and this:

OP it just needs a lick of paint. Would look amazing in black.
The colour looks like that poverty spec Hyundai i10 washed out matt blue that you see old people who hate driving have.

Asking £20k for a BL-era passionwaggon with a straight face is a bit fruity!

I often look at their site as they have some wonderful stuff for sale, unfortunately the odd faux pah does occur, the customised Mini 'Margrave' they're currently selling is advertised as a genuine Wood & Pickett but it isn't, it was built from a reshelled bog standard 1970 Mk3 Mini 850 by a couple of enthusiasts in the '80s as a tribute to Radfords and W&Ps. It's very nicely done (the headlights are a matter of taste) but it was not converted or worked on by W&P in any of the firm's incarnations. DD have been told this but are still advertising it as a kosher W&P. The ad also mentions the car which inspired it, a genuine W&P job with the reg' number '50 MAR' which despite what DD Classics say was never owned by Omar Sharif...

That’s one of the things I love about Khamsins.

If I were sufficiently wealthy I’d buy that poor thing at top of thread just to un-fk it. My most charitable thoughts are that the body and drive train were so shot that this was the only way of keeping it alive.
