Inspired by breadvan72's FIAT 124 and Lancia threads, I'm back in dreamland.

So if you won fk-off money from the lottery (or dead relatives), and had room to store them, what Italian classics are on the list?

First up for me is a Fulvia.
An X1/9 for fun
And an 80's Maserati Biturbo spider for top down cruising.
All I need now is a highway wafter, and the masochist in me says maybe a Quattroporte IV (v8, natch).

As I'm not a concours type person, the first port of call for the Maserati is to one of my competition mates for a full rewire, and refurb all the oily bits.

The FIAT is a problem, because I want the 1500's 5-speed gearbox, but the original small bumper model looks so much prettier.

I'll leave the $$$$ rarities for others: the rest of my money will be spent keeping these ones running.

Just a reminder (but keep it quiet) - you don't need a lottery win to own a Fulvia Coupe. They remain significantly under-valued - so £12K will land you a rot free car, spares are readily available and generally surprisingly cheap. Plenty of options then to upgrade the car as time goes on.[url]

Lovely.

However £12k would still require a lottery win, or selling another vehicle, or giving up competition, or something else tedious.

For now, I'm dreaming, and interested in what catches other people's fancy.

I've no interest in Ferrari or Lamborghini, but there are just so many interesting older Italian cars.

ps I'm adding an Ape for grocery shopping.

I'd start with these three but I could go on for quite a while:

When did the OP say anything about a Fulvia Coupé? This is a Fulvia:

A friend of my brother in law has just picked up 3 Lancias from Italy. 2x Fulvia and a rally prepped Beta Coupé.

I’d love to do something similar if I won a few quid!

This. Although I much prefer the look of the fake on Miami Vice.

Always loved these, my favourite Ferrari.

Really really like these.

That’s it really. I don’t have any interests in super cars, and old Alfa’s and Lancia’s don’t do it for me.

Maserati : A6GC Allemano Coupe, 3500GT, Mexico, Sebring, QPI, QPIII, QPIV V8 Evoluzione (got my eye on one at the moment), Indy, Ghibli, Bora, Merak, Khamsin and Kyalami.

Alfa Romeo : Tipo 33 Stradale, TZ2, 2600 Sprint (and a Zagato version), 105 Series Coupe in yellow ochre on Momo alloys, early boat tail Duetto Spider, early Alfetta GTV, Montreal, Giulia SS.

Lancia : S1 Fulvia, Flavia 2000, Flaminia GT, Flaminia Zagato Coupe Superleggera, Beta Montecarlo, Stratos replica (road going version).

Fiat : 124 Spider, 130 Coupe, 1500 OSCA Coupe, Dino 2400 Coupe.
