So we have been contacted by MPLC company saying we need a MPLC licence as we have TVs in our B&B rooms.
I have read a lot saying something changed last year so they feel B&B rooms are now classed as public areas and so are saying we need one.
Has anyone else been approached and what did you do?
If i need one i will get one but it does feel a bit like a scam!!
Any ideas?

The MPLC licence only applies if you have a TV in a "communal" area (eg your lounge or dining room), and it is not only showing a rolling news channel or live sports channel.
