Was in traffic the other day in the town centre on the way home from work, left a gap to let a car from the Supermarket car park in, and as the car came out a teenager on an electric Scooter comes tearing down my right hand side, luckily the person in the orange M140i that was emerging managed to see matey and stopped, who then charged through the gap between my front off side wing and the BMW's near side wing, it was very close.

Kid of about 16/17 I think, dressed head to toe in black with his hood up who then turned round and gestured as to what the BMW driver and myself thought we were doing, then sped off weaving between the traffic and disappeared, was considering catching up and asking what he thought he was doing but no chance.

It was a fairly big device he was on and he must have been doing 20 mph, kid was dressed in that scrote uniform of black joggers, Nike treainers, black top with a hood up and some kind of balaclava type thing over his mouth.

Saw another kid on one this morning, riding on the left, not weaving in and out, not causing a problem at all, its knobheads like the one mentioned above that will mean they never get made legal.

Anyone else had any run ins with a scooter like this ? Is it happening a lot ? Would Plod do anything if they saw the one I mentioned weaving in and out at speed ?

As a bonus incident, on the way in to work, coming up to the Junction before work, a fairly large crossroads, the lights change, the cyclist in front decides to chance it just as the lights change, he then met a car turning right, he manages to turns and skid and avoids a collision, again shakes his head at the car driver who did nothing wrong, maybe a little bit eager but he was on green and the cyclist was most definitely on red. I cycle but again, another person in so much of a hurry for a trip to casualty.

Glad I go into the office much less these days, its carnage out there !

Gangsta steed of choice these days. Best not to complain too much for fear of being right royally chivved up. Innit.

What can they do? The scooter scrote will zip down the nearest alley or one-way street the wrong way like a rat up a drainpipe before the police have a chance to turn their siren on.

In which city did all this take place? London has become a lawless toilet for many reasons, and these privately-owned e-scooters is just one of them. It's common to see a 20mph speed camera flash when one of the big chunky Chinese drug scooters zooms through it at night. I wouldn't even stop to give the riders the pleasure of the steam off my hot piss if I saw them under a bus with a couple of limbs hanging off desperate for help.
