Checked out the Good Grub guide, but cannot find any in that area. Looking to take a customer out to Lunch tomorrow - suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm afraid there aren't any. That area is dire.

ETA: Radletts nice but I like to generalise.

"Signor Baffi" an italian restaurant which always used to be very good is next door to the Barclays Bank at the eastern end of Shenley road (the high street). I have no idea what it's like these days. Otherwise you're looking at somewhere like the "Battleaxes" near the Aerodrome or "The Fisheries" for pub-grub type stuff.

tbh there has never really been a decent place to eat in Borehamwood since the demise of the Grosvenor Hotel about 20 years ago....

Come to think of it - what used to be called "The Plough" in Elstree village has become an Asian fusion kind of place (never been there myself). I think it's called "East" or something like that.

Thanks - we have decided on a Prezzo place in Radlett. Will let you know how it is.

... too late as you've decided ...

but for another time : the Edgewarebury Hotel near Borehamwood is in a nice setting , not a bad spot to take someone for a business meal ..

and the Chinese at the South end of Radlett High St. , on the West side is very good ... nice enough for entertaining.

I'm not sure...but it has had a bit of a re-vamp and the decor is now a bit more up to date.
