Win a viewing of Nick Mason's car collection
Charity auction has petrol head prize
If you fancy a private viewing of Nick Mason’s famous car collection, then you’ll need to get yourself down to London's Savoy Hotel on Sunday 13th May between 1800 and 2330.
Under auction is the opportunity for two people to be flown by Nick Mason in his private helicopter and be given a private tour of his world famous classic car collection in Gloucestershire. The prize includes lunch and a signed copy of his book ‘Into the Red: 22 Classic Cars That Shaped a Century’.
The item is one of a number of prizes going under the hammer at Dance Umbrella’s Spring at the Savoy event. The evening is described as a dazzling event at the Savoy Ballroom with some of the leading lights from the world of dance to raise money for Dance Umbrella’s Commissioning Fund. The charity promotes and protects the world of contemporary dance.

Someone with more money than sense gets to 'win' something nice, all the rest of us mere mortals don't get a chance at the prize.
Would be better if it were £10 a ticket for an equal chance.
Still, stops any chance of us lowlifers mixing with the landed gentry.

Quite a collection
A wonderful prize for some lucky chap.
"Your Dad not here today?", I enquired.
"No he's touring in the States. I saw him in Philadelphia last night and flew in this morning for the racing.", she replied.
How the other half live.
Dear Sweet Jesus!!!!!!!!! Labour have got to go.
How on earth do manage to link the government into this?
The charity has been around for just shy of 30 years.
I fail to see why 'charities' such as these should recieve tax breaks from the Government, that's all. There needs to be a comprehensive review of the classification of 'charity' as soon as possible, something which Tony has refused to sanction. Over the last 10 years the number of registered charities has gone through the roof and some new legislation is required. It may well come under Gordon as he looks to cut back more than he already has.
Interesting stuff I thought.
