I am setting this up on behalf of the judge, as its now the end of the month and no official thread has been set up yet, will let the judge (T4R) add a closing date

no, that's the competition thread, then there is an 'oficial entry' thread where you can only post one pic per person.eg, last months threads are here

This seems to happen in quite a few of the comps (understandable given how busy everyone is). Perhaps the official entry thread could be opened at the beginning of the month as well?
That way, if one wanted to try a few in the non-entry thread and adjust later that would be fine as now, but for those who know what they want to submit, they'd have the whole month. Just a thought. Wouldn't have helped me fix my lack of inspiration though
