Decent views round Stowe.
You can get pretty close to the track between Maggots & copse (makes you appreciate just how fast the cars are!)
Highly unlikely you'll get autographsfrown
What tickets have you got?

I've always found that Club Corner gives the best views. You can see the cars as they come around Stowe, down through Vale before braking hard for Club and then accelerating away towards Abbey.

My other favourite spot is on the entry to Becketts, just beyond Maggotts. How can they go around corners that fast!

Yeah, Becketts/Maggots is definitely the place for jaw-dropping "bloody hell they really are fast" moments and it's also a great place to observe different driving styles from.

If you have reserved seats for race day you can wander around the general admission areas and also sit in other gradstands on practice and qualifying days.
We tend to take small folding chairs and just set off around the circuit, keep in mind there are lots of other races going on, so you don't actually get far before your sitting watching something or other.
Taxis are pretty good into Towcester for eating out, where are you camping?, most campsites also lay on some kind of grub.

There's a nice spot on the entry to Priory which has fence-free line of sight for photography across the Priory/Luffield complex.

Your problem is that it's popular, so take a box or empty beer crate to stand on so you can see from a few rows back.

Staying at Hamilton Fields this year, Just by way of a change, stayed at Whittlebury the last two years, not bad, good for access. Was lacking a bit on facilities last year, seemed to be a lot more camping and no additional toilets or showers and not much snack food choice to be had.

did see hamilton fields when looking but decided on whittlebury purely for easy access for circuit and at least with whittlebury your pitch is booked prior so you know your goona get a spot all the rest are first come first serve are'nt they dint like risking not getting a spotyikesweeping

Bar's OK.
B'fast a bit slow to be served.

Entry to Copse - breathtaking entry speed.
Same, next corner Maggots into Becketts. Disbelief.
For a novel change/contrast, get to watch at Priory/Brooklands/Luffield.
Most racers can let it out at low speed, but the cars are not at their best. So good to compare top racers with midfielders and you can see why the good ones are at the front. If there was one spot that marked Kubica out a year or two back, it was this section. For a newcomer, he was COMMITTED and consistant. (Funnily enough, Schumacher never looked at ease through there.)

Club has groups of real nerds who seem to know everything about F1. Great bunch and if you admit to knowing little they will be only too pleased to help - to a fault. They are only too pleased to have someone to speak to. You need to be there early, real early, but it's worth the effort.
