Bit of advice needed!!

It's the mrs' birthday this sunday, and I've left it a little late to book a table for dinner - she's expecting a nice restaurant for Sunday night - the restaurant I was planning, Colour Works is shut Sunday night, as is Barnacles...

Can any of you recommend a nice restaurant in Leicester or the surrounding area that would be open on a Sunday?

Curry is out of the question!

Watsons:

The case:

Maiyango:

Are three of the best. There is also the food court for Highcross- posh burgers, Italian, chinese buffet all-you-can-eat, tapas, noodles, sushi etc

thanks, I'll consider Watsons, Case doesn't have a menu, so am reluctant to go there - mrs is a vege (will eat fish) so need to know there's something for her.

ETA Watsons are closed sundays so unfortunately no good!

Looks like Maiango may be an option!

Note sure about Leicester but loads to choose from in Kenilworth

Petit Gourmand is great, the The Almanack is always busy plenty of fish on the menu or for great fish also try Harringtons on the Hill.

The Case is really good for fish so you may want to reconsider. If you believe me that is wink

The Case is excellent. We were there last Monday. They do have veggie options, but the best thing is the dessert:

A mixture of everything, on a large plate for two to share. Great fun!

San Carlo on Granby street is rather nice too. Seafood specialist and you can see the fish/lobster beforehand. Excellent food, Excellent staff.

Oops, too late now but a friend owns Maiyango near the Holiday Inn, it's very nice to eat / stay at (boutique hotel too).
