Worthwhile computer courses?
Discussion
My Mum may soon be made redundant.
She has worked for the company for nearly 25 years and has no qualifications apart from her O-Levels.
The job was involved with packaging and distribution, looking after workers, interviewing for minimum wage jobs etc.
What we want to know is if it is worth doing some basic computer courses to show she is capable of these jobs, or will the experience be what a future employer is most interested in?
She wants to be as employable as possible but also not to spend time and money doing training which an employer wont take any notice of?
Also, if the training is worthwhile, are there any particular training companies who are seen as better than others?
Dave!
