Just found this which makes for quite interesting viewing. smile

Anyone know where the fabled Tuscan S 3.68 to 60 and 8.08 to 100 run is documented? That would put it 4th on this list which is quite amazing!

"as much as possible of the car's weight needs to be carried over the driven wheels"

i guess the Sag breaks that rule then!?

Almost to the point of it being alarming. I didn't realise Cerbs had such terrible brakes!

Thats an interesting table.
Id like a go at that but after my car is rebuilt with decent brakes.
Ive got the 0-60 and 0-100 covered with 3.6 and under 8, i reckon on a similar time for the cerb on braking although with a pair of R888s on the front who knows? scratchchin
Maybe similar to the Sag... which is nice.

I think you will find, that is the "BOSS Cerbera" they tested, with the alledged 500bhp?The figures don`t look that impressive nowtongue outbiggrin

They dont, if they have then there is something seriously wrong with my daily as the cerb would outbrake it from 120mph if my daily was doing 60mph.

As TC said, braking makes you ghay anyway.

Boss Cerbera's post at the time
[report] [news] Wednesday 29th June 2005
I've done quicker 0-100's in my standard 4.5. The trouble with the Boss is getting traction from rest. The 60-100 time of 4.66 is the same as the Ford GT (3rd quickest car time) and includes a cross-gate shift. I also hit 107 before braking and cadence braked to avoid flat-spotting the tyres.

The 5 litre motor has made the car undergeared. A tall diff and CR box would calm launch and give over 60 in 1st, over 100 in 2nd.

I'll be back...

So 13 hundreths is a spanking is it TC and apparantly it needed a 500 BHP Cerbera to acheive it, surely the point should be that TVRs showed all the road biased vehicles the way to go.

I understand the dyno readings are a little shy of 500bhp although that is only hearsay. I would suggest that a well set up Red Rose cerb or a remapped 4.5 (or RR) would be faster at both acceleration and braking.

TC no biting intended, off with food poisoning at the moment and just thought I would see what reaction it got, although as many threads have pointed out before blue ones are quickest.
Shame the Porsche boys havent responded as the article suggests engine over the driven wheels should be best but I cant seem to see any 911s above the Tivs.
Havent worked out how to do smilies in text or the original would have had some included in it.
Even more surprised Amazon hasnt been on to protect the Cerbera honour yet.

So these cars will generally do a 0-100mph sprint in sub 10sec’s. That’s pretty nippy that
