I'm putting black spiders on that I'm in the process of painting, these are just some we use in the bodyshop to roll the cars about whilst the wheels are being done.

Hope they are a better fit and finish to the 2 sets that have been sent to me in the past.

My light moulds were taken off a factory cerb. All the cars are slightly different they just need shaping to fit perfectly like any TVR panel. No cerb door will fit another cerb perfectly without being gaped up on that car same goes for any other panel. But anyone working on TVR,s everyday would know this! I have just recieved a brand new screen from Multipart for my cerb and doesn't fit brilliant but I will make it look perfect as the car it was tooled up off is slightly different to mine. That's the nature of these cars and the nature of the material.

When you say the screen does not fit, is it too big or small? Reason I ask is that when my new screen was fitted it looked like it did not fit. In fact the first person that came to fit it wanted me to go somewhere and get it trimmed!! However when I offered the screen up myself I found it needed to be pushed in and it fitted perfectly. I then got a more experienced fitter to come and do the job properly.

Just make sure yours does not fit before you got chopping things about, but as someone that works on TVR's full time you probably know this already! hehe

Hi Mark yes I know I was just saying about a previous comment of "better fitting and finish" everything on TVR's needs work, including a windscreen that needs bonding in under load to fit correctly.

Excellent work there, as good as new. How did you repair the front wing? New fibreglass or just filler?

I used another front I had, and made the front wing and all fiberglassed and gelcoated back in, we try not to use filler over this area at all we jsut keep building it up with gelcoat after fiberglass work is done and keep surfacing through. We then bake it off, leave a few days block it back through ready for primer.

Looks good. Mine used to be white, and I always thought the new style rear lights would have looked better if I had sprayed them black.
I like the white air boxes, makes the engine compartment look very clean and clinical, very 'Germanic'.
Nice work mate thumbup
