How to remove glue residue?

Brake cleaner and a soft cloth. Don't rub too hard or you will take the paint off too.
That's twice today I've recommended brake cleaner; it really is a do everything solvent, I've used it for cleaning carbs, degreasing bearings, cleaning panels before spraying, taking crap of my hands, even for cleaning brakes!

I buy the stuff by the case from whoever has it cheapest on Ebay. Worked a treat on my lube and chain muck stained swingarm. The rough cast ally bits were hanging onto the grime until I assaulted it with a few blasts of brake cleaner. That's twice today I've recommended brake cleaner; it really is a do everything solvent, I've used it for cleaning carbs, degreasing bearings, cleaning panels before spraying, taking crap of my hands, even for cleaning brakes!
Never tried it on paint though.
