Hi there, longtime lurker, first time poster.

Here is my ST24 which I have owned since 2006. Bit of a shed now but I still love it especially the sound of the V6 through my Powerflow exhaust in 2nd gear driving

Not as cool as some of the stuff on here, but I like it.

Like it - it has those nice (sporty) leather seats, right?
You looked after it too, so tidy.

My boss used to have an ST200 Limited edition. Great car. The ST200 has a better UIM and LIM and Throttle Body as well as a bigger air box compared to the ST24 giving it more power. It also has dual exit exhausts which looks cool. Let me know if you need more infoormation about buying an ST200/ST24 as I know quite a bit about them.

It may not look like a shed but you can get these now for shed money - maybe less tidy than mine. I guess mine is probably worth £1,500 to the right person. I think there was an ST200 as SOTW recently?

It has half leather sports seats - I will take a picture of the interior at some point as it looks great.

Thanks again for the comments,

Andy

Thanks for that, would they make for a reliable car even now or are they getting so old it's probably worth leaving them alone?

I have a W-Reg Focus that's a nightmare and I'm afraid that this would be the same, I think maybe I just got a lemon...

Nice!

I've got one too, 99 on a v plate.
Had it over two years now and it's been faultless smile
Full history,68k (bought on 51k)
Duplex exhaust ala st200.

Cheers!

P.S silly ring sticker now off and private plate on.

That looks tidy. I do wish mine was a hatchback too. The saloon looks good but although the boot is large, nowhere near as practical.

Have you done much else to yours other than the Exhaust?

Noted thanks! I may have to come along to Malton later this month. I have often seen cars for sale there on autotrader that looked good.

I had a panther black one back in 2002.i liked the bodykit & smooth engine but i found it so boring because swapped my xr4x4 with magnex & twin filters for it.
Only had it 9 months then bought 200sx s14a touring & never looked back!
Although run a snotter v6 ghia x now so i suppose mondeos are under my skin, prefer the spec on ghia x to the st24...but not the grandad image!
you have kept yours looking really well.

Looks great, I had one a while back. Nice cars, alternator was playing up though so I got rid.

Try and find a genuine ST220 airbox, makes a bit of extra noise in a nice way.

I'm sorry to say those wheels are hideous (some 17" multi-spokes would look much nicer) and it would look much better lowered.

I can understand how the Mondeo would seem a bit dull in comparison. My mates brother ran a fettled XR4x4 in the mid 90's and it was pretty entertaining!

I heard that both the ST200 and 220 airboxes are bigger and give better airflow & HP. You can also fit the LIM, UIM and Throttle body from an ST200 for some extra go - if you can get the parts. There is also a place near Birmingham who will do a modified Y Pipe, Headers, Cams and a remap. I have always been tempted to give it some more go, but whenever I really start looking into it I decide to save the cash towards my next motor (350z Nissan or ST3 Focus)

Each to their own. They are the standard turbines that came with the car. I have tried to keep the car standard rather than making it look like it was driven through Halfords collecting unnecessary addenda on the way. The only things I would change would be to the engine to make it faster.

Thanks again for the comments,

Nice to see an original looking one. Too many have ended up in banger status but they are sweet to drive, the Duratec 25 is a peach.
