Croatian to English translation
Car Racing as Marin Colak was seriously injured and his suvozaèica was killed in a traffic accident which occurred around 12:15 hours on the A6 motorway, near junction Bosiljevo direction Rijeka. Colak at the time of the accident and drove his Ferrari off the road.

Official information on the causes of accidents has gone, but it is speculated that Colak driving "hooked" another car. The traces show that the braking Èolakov Ferrari raced uncontrollably after the attack on the grass still a hundred yards, then caught fire. Ferrari is quite unrecognizable.

Marin Colak very young began to participate in races in Germany and is the only Croatian who was driving the WTCC. In his career, he raced in Formula Renault and Seat Leon Cupra Cup, which in 2008. He was vice-champion.
ListenRead phonetically

Even more crazy that the guy is an actual race driver and it seems that he may have been the cause of the accident.

Blimey!

They appear to mention a "Marin Čolak" and a number of race series. Anybody that can translate? Was it his car?

Edit: Too slow typing. I see. Not good.

Wow. From the wheel, I'd suggest a 360.

First shot and second shot look there's been a fire in between though, oddly?!

'Broke its back'? Seen plenty of pictures of crashed Ferrari's where the car has split from the bulkhead back.

First shot looks like the front end (presumably top cut off to get them out?), second looks like the back.

Guessing at what's under the sheet in the 2nd pic makes this very sobering.

Yeah, I played the "guess the car game (morbid edition)" and figured that at least a couple of people would have spotted the wheel "gimme"

yes on top of that as most of it has burnt / melted away, just leaving suspension bits and melted alloy, so very likely a 360

Rough translation.

Motorsport ace Marin Colak was seriously hurt while his 20 year old passenger (I.O) was killed in an automobile accident that occurred around 12.15 on the A6 motorway near Bosiljevo towards Rijeka. Corlak was driving his Ferrari and came off the motorway. He received medical help at the scene before being transferred to Karlovac hospital.

Colak who was not wearing his seat belt was thrown clear from the vehicle while his passenger who had been wearing her belt was trapped in the burning vehicle.

No official cause has been made but reports indicate Colak "came into contact" with a Nissan. Skidmarks on the road indicate Colak breaking before driving off the motorway on a grass area another 100 meters after which it caught fire. The Ferrari is unrecognisable due to the fire damage which was brought under control by the fire brigade. Witnesses are being asked to come forward.

Unofficially police suspect the accident occured due to Colak racing the Nissan with a Zagreb registered number plate, the Nissan stopped on the hard shoulder another 100 or so yards down the motorway.
