Anybody know anything about them?

On a recommendation from someone I left my Heuer Carrera there two weeks ago to have a minor repair done.

Now the place seems to be boarded up and the phone is dead.

Got a bad feeling about this.......

Recently you took great pleasure in spoiling one of my threads by pointing out errors in grammatical skills, you took great satisfaction in this but you are obviously not as clever as you think because even a mere mortal like me can work out that you have been conned! Try eBay your watch is probably on there mate!

P.S You should have bought a 911

wink

It doesn't sound good and there doesn't seem to be much information available regarding PJ on the Internet ... Is the watch covered under your house insurance? Perhaps you can make a claim, as technically it has been stolen.

Spelling and grammer aside I hope you get your watch back, have you tried to contact the landlord of the property?

I recently got a seiko back from a chap who had it for 6 years, by chance I was passing his show and saw a closing down sale sign. He returned the watch in the end.

As stated above you may need to contact your home insurance, did you get any sort of reciept from the shop?

Tried the town hall? He has to have rented the premises from somewhere and paid business rates. Worth a try!

Considering you are a keyboard warrior I think it is only fair that you point out to us mere mortals with less grammatical talent than you answers to the following questions:

Who got a call?

Who will collect it tomorrow?

Oh the ironing, oh the ironing........... hehe

P.S I'm going to add you to my list of mates in my profile because you seem like a real fun dude nerd

Jacksons? If so, he is reputable smile Bad form on PJ's part though, shutting shop and transferring your watch to another jewellers without contacting you first.

Yes, it was Jackson's. I was a bit worried for a while...but all's well etc. I picked it up this afternoon.

Thanks to all who offered advice.

No way! Hawmaws has pointedly not taken the bait in this thread, thereby occupying the high ground.

What I found funny was how Number 5 waited in the long grass for a month to launch a revenge attack on a Hawmaws post. Kudos to Hawmaws for rising above it IMO.

It's great 'popcorn' stuff and an interesting diversion I find!!
