As a few of you might be aware, there is an MOD webpage where you can complain directly about low flying military aircraft which are causing you problems: http://www.mod.uk/DefenceInternet/ContactUs/LowFly...

Well in an amusing turn of events, they've only gone and removed Libya from the list of countries when you try to submit the form! hehe

Made me chuckle anyway.

Dear God above.

A bloody website where you can email complaints about low-flying air force planes going about their business LOOKING AFTER THE NATION.

Labour were truly marvellous.

If 'The Dambusters' film is true to life then people complained about the Lancasters practicing low flying over Derwentwater. They just had to write letters instead of e-mail; amd that was a full-blown war, not just a live firing exercise.

There were even questions in parliament about low flying going as far back as 1918!

Dammit...did Hitler have such a website?

My parents knew nothing of it. They were livid...

Hmmm... I bet low flying is good for RAF recruitment.

I'd have given my left nut to have been on Tower Bridge on 05/04/68.

I'm surprised there wasn't at least one tourist around at the time that didn't manage a fuzzy snapshot.

I believe there is an oil painting hanging up in a RAF office/mess somewhere depicting Flt.Lt.Al Pollock's last Hunter flight.

IIRC it's at Wittering home of the recently disbanded 1(F)Sqn.
