Aren't we lucky to live in a world with the BMW M2? It's a sublime machine, providing staunch rear-driver dynamics without ever feeling scary or unpredictable. Anyone with even a smidgen of love for driving can exploit the talents of this six-cylinder-powered two-door. This beguiling performance does, however, come at a cost. Literally. Funding the drinking habit of a car of this calibre is no cheap task, nor is having to provide for unforeseen maintenance costs, such as a couple of new tyres at £250 a pop thanks to punctures. Having made the difficult, but completely understandable, decision to part with a much-loved M2, then, Brainpox decided to purchase a used Mini JCW GP2. Yes, it's technically a downgrade, but as you'll know, this two-seat hot hatch is as focused on the job of entertaining as its BMW Group cousin. With 218hp, it ain't no slouch, either.
