The BTCC returns for its annual visit to Scotland this weekend, Knockhill promising another action packed three races thanks to its uniquely challenging layout. Will any of the apex markers survive the first lap? How much contact will there be at the hairpin? Who will go off at the chicane?
To get you in the mood, here's some Knockhill Super Touring gold from the deepest depths of YouTube. It's superb. How can a video like this have attracted less than a thousand views a year since 2009?
This video is rounds 10 and 11 of the 1993 season, a year largely dominated by the E36 BMWs of Smokin' Jo Winkelhock and Steve Soper. They're certainly a force here, but the focus is on local hero John Cleland in his fantastic looking Cavalier and the battle with Patrick Watts' Carina.
It's everything we love about 1990s touring cars is one brief video - close racing, a wide variety of cool cars and some great drivers too. If 2016 is anywhere near as good as this, we're in for a treat.
