Lexus has officially confirmed it will unveil its long-awaited LF-A supercar at this October's Tokyo motor show.
Toyota and Lexus are keeping tight-lipped about the car's technical details, but we did discover a few details about the new car when PH editor Chris-R test-drove the racing version of the Lexus LF-A at Goodwood a few months back.
The production LF-A will cost at least £250k when it comes to the UK (although some put the price at closer to £300k), and Lexus hopes to sell between 10 and 20 cars in the UK.
For your quarter million, you'll get a 9000rpm V10 engine kicking out around 550bhp (the cylinder head covers on the car we tested had #557p written on them in marker pen), while stopping power comes from carbon-ceramic brakes, which sit behind 20-inch magnesium alloys.
