Six weeks. That’s all that’s left to go until this year’s Annual Service powered by Michelin, and there’s still a lot to get through before welcoming you all to Bicester Motion on 8th August. We’ve got cars to curate, programmes to print and portaloos to procure - but what we have managed to nail down are some guest speakers to entertain you on our big, beautiful live stage.
With PH being the broad church that it is, we’ve got guests from every corner of the industry, so there’s bound to be a talk you’ll want to sit and listen to. If you’re a big motorsport fan, then boy do we have a speaker for you. Three-time Grand Prix victor and 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Johnny Herbert will be joining us on stage to talk about this year’s controversial Formula 1 rule changes. Given his role as a Lola ambassador, we’ll no doubt talk about the revamped, 805hp Formula E cars that are due to arrive later this year, and how development’s coming along on the T70.S.
This year will also mark the 30th anniversary of the Lotus Elise, so who better to bring on stage than a legend of car TV? Former Top Gear and Fifth Gear presenter Vicki Butler-Henderson is joining us at Annual Service to talk about just how groundbreaking the Series 1 Elise was back in the '90s and its lasting legacy on the industry. We’ll also have a live recording from one of the biggest automotive podcasts around, Road to Success, with host Ben Fowler joined by a special guest to pick through their life story.
That’s only a fraction of what we’ve got planned for this year’s live stage, with more guests to be revealed in the coming weeks. And if that wasn’t enough, this year’s Annual Service will play host to an exclusive car reveal. One you won’t see anywhere else over the summer. So if you haven’t already, clear your diary for 8th August and get your tickets here. You’re not going to want to miss this.
