Remember when taking a photo meant slotting a new film in a camera and carefully setting the aperture and focal length before having it processed? If your settings were slightly off the photo collected a few weeks later would be ruined. Then technology caught up and people are now snapping selfies and shooting amazing photos with their phones.
Aerial photography was something that required a professional, getting up in a helicopter to shoot above villages and towns or chase cars around a track. Now, we have drones and you can sit in the park and fly high above civilisation, getting a bird's-eye view to take some stunning images and even learn a little about the landscape around. At PH we use a DJI Phantom III Advanced and it has changed the way we shoot photos and video, as you may have seen.
