A tow truck is being used to steal cars in Somerset, police have said.
The thief is apparently hitching vehicles to the truck and driving them away.
Bizarrely all the cars that have been stolen have been between 15 and 20 years old and a variety of makes and models.
Officers believe the thief may be stealing the cars to crush them because of their high value as scrap metal.
A police spokesman said: ‘Members of the public may have seen these cars being stolen, but thought nothing of it because they were being towed, especially as they had all either been left parked for some time.’
