PHer Telecaster, like many before him, is looking to his fellow members to suggest which car he should buy next. Living just outside the Peak District, he is lucky to enough to be a short sprint from some excellent driving roads. So what should he buy?
His criteria: cheap and fun, put simply. It only has to be used as a weekend car, so practicality isn't a concern. With his local roads characterised by short straights and tight bends, Telecaster's initial suggestion of a Renault Clio 182 is definitely a safe one - but what else is there?
The obvious propositions presented by fellow members included the obligatory MX-5, Toyota MR2 and a Honda Integra Type R DC2.
Mr Tidy cites the BMW 325ti Compact as a left field choice. There's 192hp from a smooth six-cylinder engine, sending power rearwards with a compact wheelbase too.
