Nurburgring seems to be turning into a builder’s paradise. Fresh after the news that a new theme park is being built, Aston Martin has announced they are converting an existing building at Meuspath which will be operational by this summer. This is the second major new facility in less than 12 months since the company entered new ownership, supplementing Aston’s existing facilities in the Midlands.
Aston are heavy users already of the ‘Ring notching up information on ride, handling, tyres, brakes and cooling systems while carrying out 10,000 km high-speed durability tests. And this new facility will compliment their activity while adding the opportunity for customer activities in the future.
Dr Ulrich Bez, the Aston Martin CEO said “The Nurburgring has played a vital part in improving the performance and durability of all modern Aston Martins. Our new test centre will allow us to further increase the performance of our cars and to share something of the unique Nordschleife experience with our customers.”
