You know a turnout of cars is a good one when employees at Aston Martin Lagonda's HQ spend the morning gawking. At the weekend's Sunday Service, the people who develop some of the world's finest grand tourers rubbed shoulders with PHers to talk about what's coming out of Gaydon in the next few months, how brilliant the sunshine was and, of course, the cars that surrounded them - for which there were over 300, of enormous variety.
Outside the entrance of Aston's stunning home was its line-up of latest models, including a DB11 and a DBS 'floating' on water, as well as a collection of owner cars that included a lovely green V12 Vantage S that had Matt weak at the knees. Only a few steps away was a collection of PH metal that ranged from a classic Mini, Porsche Cayman GT4 and Jaguar XE Project 8, right over to a Megane turbo-engined Clio 200, a track-prepped Subaru Impreza WRX STI and even an Alfa Romeo 156 GTA that looked as fresh as the day it left the factory, for good measure. Rest assured there was something for everybody to drool over, and then some.
A special well done to PHers who picked the brains of Aston's employees; there's really no better way of proving that the users of these forums are by far the most knowledgeable on the planet. And thanks to everyone who brought along biscuits for PH editorial, which became PH shop for the morning; we're all suitably high on sugar and loosening belts accordingly - leaving us with a bit of dieting to do before the next EnduroKa round...
With the sky above a lovely shade of French Racing Blue, we know lots of attendees headed out into the countryside for an afternoon drive, freshly kitted with new PH merch. We sold more than normal at this event, so apologies to those whose requests we weren't able to cater for. Those who couldn't grab what they were after, however, should take a look at the new PH shop here.
The next PH Sunday Service will be taking place at our second EnduroKa race at Snetterton on 16th June. Watch this thread for all the latest event calendar updates. For now, let's look back through some of the pictures from Sunday's meet-up. If you were there, let us know what you thought in the comments below and don't forget to nominate your favourite car of the day (no, you can't vote for yours!).
