The Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) is organising a weekend of activities to coincide with St. George's Day.
According to AMOC, 200 or more of the cars, from the earliest to the very latest, together with former world-famous racing cars and cars from James Bond films will assemble in Royal Windsor on Saturday 23 April. They will then slowly motor to Windsor Castle, through St. George’s Gate into the Royal Quadrangle passing a saluting Dais and thence slowly out of the Castle into “Frogmore”.
A very special feature of this parade, said AMOC, is that it will be led all the way by St. George himself! On arriving at “Frogmore”, there will be time to relax and enjoy socialising with other Aston owners.
Public admission for the price of a £5 souvenir programme will allow the rest of us will be admitted to review the cars. There follows an equestrian and military display put on by The Light Cavalry of The Honourable Artillery Company, after which the Astons will take an escorted drive through Windsor Great Park.
