Chance to try a Ginetta race car before you enter the race series

Ginetta Cars have scheduled some Tryout Days for those potentially interested in their three cars that are currently in production – the Ginetta G20 Junior, Ginetta G20 Senior and the Ginetta G50.

The cost of your session will be refunded if you buy a car and join a race series off the back of your Tryout session. There’s still time to race in 2008!

Should anybody wish to try a Ginetta G50 for size, they can have a session at Donington Park on any of the following dates:

21st August – Donington Park - FULLY BOOKED
23rd August - Brands Hatch
11th September – Donington Park - FULLY BOOKED
12th September - Brands Hatch
9th October – Donington Park
20th November – Donington Park
11th December – Donington Park

Price: £300

Ginetta G20s are available for test runs over the following for those interested in joining the Texaco Havoline Ginetta Championship or Club Ginetta:

18th July – Donington Park
25th August – Croft
2nd September – Oulton Park
1st October – Silverstone GP
12th November – Oulton Park

Price: £250

Due to the ages of potential Ginetta Junior drivers who would like to try a 1400cc Ginetta Junior sportscar, it’s difficult to get access to a circuit and run similar test events. Therefore, Ginetta will set out a track configuration on Elvington Airfield in North Yorkshire for Junior Tryout sessions.

These will be on:

26th June
16th July
14th August
16th September
15th October
12th November
10th December

Price: £195 including one-to-one instruction

It's not necessary to hold a race licence to try a G20 Junior or Senior car, but Seniors must have a valid full road licence. However to sample a G50, you must be a race licence holder.

All dates are subject to a minimum number of participants and so Ginetta reserve the right to re-schedule a booking if this number is not achieved. The prices do not include VAT or damage.
