The Lancia Delta Integrale has long been one of the best received cars on PistonHeads' social media, so what better way to start than mentioning the incredible combo featuring not only two of these awesome Italian hatchbacks, but also the equally legendary Ferrari 288GTO and F40! It was quite the experience to see these four cars in convoy through Belgravia early on a Sunday morning, putting to shame any vehicle from this side of the Millennium.
Whilst roaming the streets of London in April we also managed to spot rarities such as the Mercedes Benz CLK AMG Black Series, the Monaco commission Singer 911 - which was truly stunning, a gorgeous red on red Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, and the quirky Spyker C8.
The rarest spot of all, however, was the unusual Aston Martin V8 Sportsman Estate. One of only three ever made, it's based on a 1996 V8 Coupe, and was converted to a four-seater shooting brake by Aston themselves. What an unusual thing!
At completely the other end of coach-built supercardom is the Mansory S63 Diamond Edition, pictured with a Lamborghini Aventador. Tuned to 1,000hp and described by Mansory as a 'drivable piece of jewellery', you will doubtless find it ghastly, however, it's hard not to be wowed by its electronically limited 1,032lb ft of torque. That's almost the same as a Veyron!
On the subject of Mansory, and Veyrons, we also saw a Mansory Veyron! This particular car started life as a standard Veyron 16.4 Coupe, however, around ten years ago it was completely rebodied by Mansory to resemble the limited-edition Veyron 'Pur Sang'. This meant giving the car polished aluminium and exposed carbon fibre weave panels - nothing unusual by today's standards, but it must have taken quite some cojones to do that to a Veyron at the time!
Make sure to share anything interesting, or just a little bit different, that you've spotted recently and check back in a month's time to see what automotive gems May has to offer!
