We were at Honda this weekend for yet another great event in our year's calendar, and although it was a relatively small one, it featured a swathe of lovely cars on show by both Honda and our members.
Traipsing my way around the M25 before the sun was up left me suitably groggy, but arriving at Honda with a cup of tea and seeing Matt Neal's BTCC car being wheeled off the trailer livened me a up a bit... Even more so when one of the team started it up for us, sound blaring from the weird looking side exhaust. Also on show, lined up in front of the building, was Honda's epic heritage fleet - Integra Type R, Accord Type R, Civic Type R, NSX; you name it and it was there looking pretty and pleasing Honda fanboys (yes, we're guilty).
It wasn't just the Heritage fleet on show though; Honda had a few bikes there as well, including the Africa Twin and CBR1000RR, the new NSX and the very mean 'Mean Mower' which looked like it was begging to be driven around the car park. PHers also brought their very best, with some stunning metal in the form of a glorious E30 M3 with spotlights, a Camaro ZL1 (which almost made Matt jump up and down with excitement...), an S1 Exige with a supercharged Honda heart and, my personal favourite, a Miami Blue 911 GT3 which was just absolutely dreamy.
All in all, a very successful day. We'd like to send a massive thank you to Honda for the amazing effort they put into the day, it really is appreciated. And also a big thanks to the PHers there who helped make the day very entertaining - see you at the next one.
Speaking of which, keep an eye out for our Silverstone Sunday Service announcement going live tomorrow!
