Given their rarity, witnessing just one Bugatti is noteworthy. Two would be a seriously special event. And three, in matching specs? It's not far off impossible, surely...
Well, as this week's Veyron 15th anniversary celebrations have reminded us, 'impossible' doesn't really crop up in the context of modern Bugatti. The plan to make a 1,000hp, 250mph production car sounded impossible once upon a time, and here we are a decade and a half after that car was launched.
The images seen here aren't actually related to the Veyron retrospective, rather it's a recent look back from Bugatti at its trilogy of hypercars stretching back to the EB110. Shot in Dubai (where else?), the pics are a stunning collection of cars rarely seen in isolation - leave alone as a trio.
We're familiar nowadays with seeing the Chiron and Veyron (a Super Sport here, of course) on television, YouTube and social media, but the EB110 really is a rare breed. Especially as this car is a Super Sport, one of just 30 made; each was more powerful than a standard GT with more than 600hp, and 150kg lighter as well. If the EB110 was sensational, then the SS was - and remains - out of this world.
And here it is, shot in glorious light alongside its successors: all carbon tubbed, all quad-turbocharged, all capable of more than 220mph. Even by the standards of hypercar trios, this is quite some back catalogue - there could be nothing better for Pic of the Week this Sunday.
You'll notice there are three options this week, too, because we could do with some cheering up through stunning cars in amazing locations. So below there are two shots from the city and one from the desert, meaning there's no excuse not to keep the desktop looking fresh in lockdown - enjoy!
