Ford Zephyr Executive

1967 Ford Zodiac Executive 3.0 Auto./ Advertising on behalf of our customer who bought this from the lovely people at Matthewsons a bit over 2 years ago. He has now replaced it with a MK1 Zodiac and has asked us to sell it for him. We have the V5 on its way to us and some old MOTs. It shows 3 previous owners. Its a very honest original old car which does start run and drive. I dont think its seen a lot of use in recent years so it will need recommissioned.Body - Very straight old car which looks really solid. All looks good underneath but would benefit from a waxoyl or similar. No rust on panels that I can see. Looks like mostly original paint. There are a few minor marks here and there. A good polish would sort a lot of them out. Bumpers and chrome are generally good. this is a really honest old survivor car which appears to still be on its first time round the block. Mechanics - The car will start and run but hasnt been used properly for a good while by the look of it. The engine sounds fine but will need a service and points , plugs etc. The gearbox works as it should. The brakes are very spongy and have a long pedal. This will need attention. Also it sometimes doesnt want to turn over but if you move the Gear selector it fires into life. This also needs sorting. Car appears to be all standard mechanically.Interior - All original and generally in very good order. Couple of cracks on the drivers seat base. Good carpets, door cards, Headlining has a few stains but not ripped.Wheels- Standard steels with originals trimsYou are welcome to come and see the car.We can put it on a ramp if required.
