JAGUAR XK8

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at Silverstone Festival 2025 on Sunday the 24th of August, The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.

It took a long time for the Jaguar XJS to be accepted in the classic world but years before that happened its successor, the XK8, was being heartily embraced by classic car fans

When new, the 4-litre, 32-valve, AJ-V8 generated 290bhp and offered 0-60 in 6.4 seconds and 156mph 

This example dates from 2000 and presents well in Platinum Silver with an excellent interior in soft black leather with figured wood veneers which appear to be in good condition

The current indicated mileage is 48,202 and the service records display 7 stamps

The history file contains an invoice for a full set of new tyres in Oct 2024,  MOT certificates dating back to 2003, and its original handbooks in Jaguar leather pouch 

The Cherished Registration, A10 OXK, (X100) will remain with the car
