1970 TRIUMPH TR6

Triumph TR-6pi CP150 2.5ltr Straight Six.

We have been consigned by our client to sell this lovely example of the TR-6 Pi CP 150..

This very stunning Triumph TR-6 Has been completed in Damson coachwork with chrome furniture and black detail. Black vinyl roof to Chrome sports exhaust all completed with grey steel wheels and chrome rims. All makes for a stunning looking Tr-6

The interior is completed with black leather perforated patterned seats to wood veneer dash surround - Black carpets and completed with black door cards.

This is a lovely example and certainly worth taking the time to view if you are in the market for a TR-6. The car drives superb and pulls very strong from the 2.5 Litre straight Six with a smooth gear change and a working over drive unit in gears 2-3-4. All items work as they should and are in good condition.

The TR-6 Presents very well and is as good in the flesh as the photos. This car belonged to David Pilkington a very respected figure in the Triumph world from 2005 until 2015. In this time David had the car fully nut and bolt restored with a bare metal respray (2007) And maintained and loved throughout his ownership using in the summer for shows and small road trips. Many certificates for show wins. Though restored some years ago the car today is in very good condition with no rust or cosmetics to mention. Completed in Damson this is a very good colour for this car and looks superb. The restoration included a full engine gearbox and axle, suspension and brake rebuild along with a Laycock clutch. A few parts changed such as the seats that are USA Specced high back and super comfy while holding a good grip in the bends - The hood was changed for a USA Hood slightly more elegant and looks superb over the standard flatter hood. My client purchased in 2015 And has loved and enjoyed the TR-6 On summer weekends whilst clearly cherishing and maintaining throughout ownership.
