McLaren P1 GTR

When the roadgoing McLaren P1 was revealed in full production form in 2013 it was hard to imagine anything more extreme than the near-1,000hp, rear-wheel-drive carbon fibre plug-in hybrid hypercar. But just two years later McLaren forced the world to recalibrate its expectations once again, with the track-only P1 GTR.

Wider, lower, 50kg lighter, about 70hp more powerful and with a new aero set-up – including DRS-style wing – the P1 GTR is more extreme in every way. Its stripped-out interior features an F1-style carbon fibre steering wheel, DTM-inspired carbon fibre seats mounted directly to the chassis, six-point harnesses and HANS device compatibility.

The car, available exclusively through LaSource, has been with the same owner since new, covering modest mileage. It’s available to view by appointment in the USA. A full McLaren spares package is also available.
