2018 ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE AMR

Stealthily finished in Scintilla Silver over a Pure Black Alcantara interior and specified with the desirable Lightweight Carbon Fibre seats, we are pleased to now offer this manual V8 Vantage AMR.

Launched to coincide with the 2017 Le Mans 24 hour race, where Aston Martin Racing secured its momentous GTE class victory, AML unveiled what became the final production derivative of the VH2 V8 Vantage, the V8 Vantage AMR.

Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017, the AMR sub-brand, first shown on the Rapide AMR, amplifies and accentuates the sporting prowess of the British marque’s road cars, by taking inspiration or direct influence from Aston Martin Racing’s participation in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The V8 Vantage AMR was powered by a 430 bhp 4735cc normally aspirated V8 engine and was available with either the Sportshift III or 6-speed manual transmission. The example we now offer is specified with the desirable manual gearbox, for maximum driving enjoyment.

Production of the V8 Vantage AMR coupe and Roadster began in the final quarter of 2017 and was limited to just 200 examples. This example is one of just 62 UK RHD V8 Vantage AMR coupes built and one of just 38 with the manual gearbox. Interestingly, just 2 of the UK RHD coupes were finished in Scintilla Silver without the AMR graphic pack (the other having a Vivid Red interior) therefore this car is a genuine ‘One of One’.

In addition to its standard V8 Vantage AMR specification, notable optional extras chosen here include: Aston Martin 700W Premium Audio, Dark Anodised brake calipers, full length Twill Carbon fascia trim, Lightweight Mesh front grille, Piano Black interior trim pack, front parking sensors and reversing camera, AMR headrest embroidery, Carbon Fibre lightweight seats and 5-spoke Gloss Black wheels. First registered in February 2018, having covered just 13,300 miles from new and benefitting from annual servicing at AM Main Agents, this car is in excellent condition throughout. Its exterior bodywork protected by PPF and G-Tecniq Ceramic paint protection, applied in 2022. Serviced in March 2023 by Aston Martin and supplied with 12 months warranty.

Whilst many enthusiasts gravitate to the V12 powered Vantage, the V8 Vantage AMR in our opinion, should not be overlooked, with ample power and a nimbleness from the tuned and highly developed chassis. The V8 Vantage ‘Laying a legitimate claim to being one of the most beautiful car designs ever put into production’ (Evo Magazine, 2017), the V8 Vantage AMR was fitting swansong to the highly successful 13-year production run.
