The Land Rover is synonymous with off-roaders - the benchmark in their class.

The humble Land Rover was introduced back in 1948 - Rover took inspiration from the Jeeps used in World War II and were built with aluminium due to post-war steel shortages.

The Series 2, like we have here, had a production run of around three years, from 1958 to 1961. It was available in both short and long wheelbase models.

This Series 2 is a SWB (short wheelbase) and comes to market after 21 and a half years with our vendor, who has restored it over the years.
