1964 ROVER 110

Rover P4 110 1964, Old English White with Red Leather Seats & Interior, excellent condition.

I have had the pleasure of owning and enjoying this wonderful classic car for the past 35 years. My Rover P4 has an extensive and detailed history, including photos of the refresh work undertake from 1990 to 2002. The car was completely resprayed in 2002, the original chrome work (bumpers, badge bar and grill) were also restored and refitted in 1995 by Colonnade Chromeworks. This Rover P4 is a stunning machine and I have shown her on many occasions where she has won awards and been invited to be displayed at events.

• Displayed on the Rover P4 Owners Club Stand at the NEC Classic Car show twice, most recently in 2008.

I have replaced the interior carpet with a luxurious, custom fit replacement from Moss, the door seals have also been replaced. The original seats have been well cared for, the front ‘bench seat’ has been re-sprung and repaired, this retains the character and history of the car. All of the electrics, instruments and gauges work as they should, even the original Motorola radio plays!

I have been asked to use the P4 as a Wedding Car on many an occasion, the attention, interest and kind remarks the car receives is heart-warming! 904 KPA will always be a very special car to all my family, the sight of the Rover gliding elegantly through Denham Village taking our daughter to her Wedding on a beautiful summer’s day will always be cherished!

The Rover 110 was produced from 1962 to 1964, during this period just 1,534 cars were built.

2.6 litre straight six engine with Weslake Head, 4 speed with overdrive, 123BHP giving a top speed in excess of 100mph.

While the mileage is now 122,643miles, the Rover only goes out when the weather is nice, typically covering a mere 100 miles per year. The car runs on unleaded fuel following on from a rebuild of the cylinder head in 2003 by Stan Johnson, other work by Stan was a rebuild of the gearbox back in 1991 and a replacement of the brake servo and an engine tune in 2006.

The car comes with the original jack, cranking handle and complete tool kit (tool drawer under the dashboard).

The P4 is ready to be viewed and enjoyed, the car has always (in my ownership) been garaged, she is ready for the good weather and the coming car shows and club meets.
