Volvo S60R 2004 Manual

I’ve decided to part with my S60R, having owned it since Sept 2019.

New front shocks and angle gear collar fitted shortly before purchase - AWD & 4C systems functional

PCV system replaced Oct 2019

Discs & pads all round with new handbrake shoes & adjusters fitted along with new handbrake cables November 2019

Block mod/timing belt

replacement carried out Feb 2020 by Tim Williams

Genuine Volvo fuel pump fitted along with new filter/rail sensor & fuel pump module relocated under rear seat bench March 2023

Known issues currently are:

Rear shocks tired & springs corroded

Front brake discs will need replacing at next pad change - new Brembo pads fitted August 2023

Exhaust system tired - I had a rodent fill the central section up to the catalytic converter & rear silencer with various nuts. Due to this there are two inspection windows cut and subsequently welded up to allow removal of the nuts.

Air con works as long as it’s not too warm - likely due to a worn compressor clutch assembly, but the system appears to be gas tight at least.

Will require 4 tyres in the near future.

One touch raise doesn’t work correctly on drivers window

Body wise most panels have seen some paint in the past, small patches of lacquer peel is evident in various areas along with small dents/dings consistent with being a 21 year old car which had been enjoyed.

2 keys & V5 present - model number is incorrect on V5 but I’ve never got round to changing it.

Number plate shown will come with the car

No service history as this was lost by myself sadly but had had fairly regular oil changes with Castrol Egde 5w30 - I’d say 4 or so during my ownership
