Grand touring at its finest, the V12 XJS is a fast, quiet and effortless way to travel.

Placed at the top of the Jaguar lineup, the XJS was conceived as a luxury GT cruiser, rather than an out an out sports car. Jaguar understood their client base's demands and placed refinement, luxurious comfort and a near-silent power delivery as its main selling points. Once released from the shackles of British Leyland, the quality and dependability of the XJS, and indeed all Jaguar badged cars took a turn for the better and it went on to thrive as one of the finest V12 4-seater GT cars in the world.

By the time the final incarnation of the XJS made its debut in 1991, the model had seen a wealth of improvements. Sales were buoyed by new engines and a proven motorsporting pedigree but the core appeal of the XJS remained its stability and composed manners on the road. Improvements to the aerodynamics, braking, and uprated 6.0-litre V12 engine place these later versions of the XJS as the most resolved versions of the big cat.
