Just some of the specification of this car includes uprated Alfa 1570cc engine (substituted from the original 1290cc unit), an oil cooler and remote filler have been added, and a Weber carburettor is used. The later 5-speed gearbox replaces the 4-speed original. Further, the front brakes are now disc and not drum, the dynamo is replaced by an alternator, and high-back touring seats and additional instruments and lights have been added.

Imported to the UK in 1995, it has had just two owners on these shores, the most recent since 2004. The accompanying history demonstrates some of the care and maintenance attributed to this car by reputable specialists, though a large amount of the mechanical upkeep was managed by the owner. In the period to 2015 the engine was rebuilt and rolling-road tested, giving an impressive 141bhp at the engine. Handy enough, for a 60’s Alfa!

Notwithstanding some improvements which could certainly be made to some of the extremities of the body, from a few yards away this car presents very respectfully, and the engine truly is sweet.
