This September 1991 example has covered 131,000 miles.

Currently owned by a VW Golf enthusiast, this is a superb example.

This was the run out mode for the Mk1 Golf Gti, with around 470 ‘Rivage’ editions were produced in either Green or Blue.

This example has excellent Blue paintwork with a matching Blue interior. There is an all over deep shine, a very solid, rust free car.

The alloys look great and still have the correct factory finish.

Underneath, this Golf presents very well indeed, all solid and as it should be.

This Golf drives and performs very well, the 5 speed manual gearbox is nice and tight, the steering and suspension feeling very precise.

It comes with a large folder of old service invoices and old MOT’s, original book pack and owners manual.

This car was recorded at ‘Cat D’ in 2001 … That means that the car has some cosmetic damage which the insurer at the time would cost more to repair than the cars value. Remember in 2001, the car didn’t have a great deal of value, so could have been quite light damage, but this is reflected in the price.

The Rivage convertibles can command strong money, they are now very sought after.

Cars have sold in the last 2 years for over £25,000 , commonly over £15,000, so this one is sensibly priced and ready to enjoy.
