2010 RENAULT MEGANE

For sale is 750 Motor Club’s 2010 RenaultSport Megane, which has been acting as the Club's Safety Car since 2018. Currently on 131,000 (bought with 59,000), whilst it’s not the car for those looking for a concours example and it has some cosmetic imperfections, it has had plenty of refresh and maintenance work, plus history.

Whilst is has obviously been used on track, Safety Car duties are generally not even at trackday pace, and the vast majority of the car's miles have been on the road to and from circuits, as well as generally acting as a company vehicle and business miles.

Exterior

- Most paint is generally very good, apart from sections of quite heavily chipped paint on the bottom rear bumper lower valance plus various other marks and minor scratches etc around the place, but no real dents etc or serious damage.

- A few light marks on the roof from the (magnetic) lights.

- It has recently been machine polished and a bit of fresh paint after all decals and graphics were removed.

- Alloys (later style) refurbished but have a few light kerb marks (touched up).

- Toyo Proxes all round.

- Headlights require an annual polish on top to remove clouding.

- Exhaust surround trim is corroded.

Interior

- Standard spec all working inc. dual zone climate (nice and cold), adjustable heated seats, drivers’ electric seat (passenger’s is manual), keyless entry/start, cruise/speed limiter, power fold mirrors, CD/Bluetooth, black and yellow leather (a bit shiny and worn in places but good overall)

- Missing parcel shelf and driver’s floor mat.

- One climate button can be sticky, one air vent has a broken direction tab.

- Yellow seat belts a bit grubby.

- A few scuffs around the hard plastics on the lower half of the tunnel, door cards etc and the door card light often pops out

- TPMS disabled.

Mechanical

- Whilst not collated in a book, it has generally been serviced to spec and annually from various different garages and specialists, and there are various invoices for work done, from dampers, wheel bearings, brakes, bushes, and it did have the front balljoints/swivel arm balljoints done a couple of years ago.

- We believe it has had a remap of some sort in the past; this sometimes shows up a very mild misfire at high revs that comes and goes.

- Missing engine cover and engine bay needs a bit of a clean.

Overall a great usable example of this generation of RenaultSport Megane, which has always been reliable and never let us down in many years of busy use.
