When we saw that this stunning Corvette was available to purchase, we went out of our way to add it to our stock. We knew the car a little as it was the personal car of a Corvette enthusiast local to us and he knows a good Corvette when he sees one. Around 2014/15 he visited Florida to view several cars, and this one absolutely blew him over. It was the right colour, in the best condition and had the fantastic Muncie M21 manual gearbox that he so wanted.

Though a Corvette specialist and dealer at the time, this car was for him personally. It has won many awards in his company and has been positively featured in American Classic magazine which we do have a copy.

The interior and bodywork could not be improved upon – it truly is second to none. Paintwork finish delivers a strong shine and there are no spider marks or bumps in the paintwork which often accommodate old Corvettes. This paint colour is called Brands Hatch Green which the magazine feature tells us is a 1 year only build limiting its numbers. It will certainly be rare here in the UK. The saddle leather interior wants for nothing, and the dashboard and headlining are equally as good.

Mechanically again this example carries on in the same condition as the rest of the car, firing up first time and purring at good idle speed. Its 350 engine produces an incredible 270bhp and sounds … well, you’ll need to visit us here to listen…

This car is fitted with expensive options of the day which included power steering, air conditioning and an FM Radio, suggesting that its US owner had a few bob. Back here in the UK these options make a huge difference to the driving enjoyment and ownership of a Corvette C3.
